Our landscaping tip for today is to realize that a landscaping contractor may not necessarily be a landscape designer. A good contractor should be good at following a blueprint, planting trees and shrubs, building walls and such tasks. He should be able to get the plants and materials you need at reduced cost if he is hired to install the project. You may still need a landscape designer to come up with the right design for your landscaping. As with all things, ask for recommendations from family, friends and neighbors when searching for either one.
