If it was a serious enough attack, the plant can be cut back. It can re-grow and possibly have a fuller appearance than before. Attractive rose blooms can be attained by using a high potassium fertilizer. Mix the fertilizer and water in a 1:4 ratio and use it at least weekly.

For those who like the miniature Bonsai rose plants, it’s a good idea to keep them indoors for a season and then put them outside. The pests have a tendency to attack them and this would be a good defense against the pests. It’s also a good idea to plant them in the garden because if they are left in their original containers they will dry out quickly.
